| Rai has won many national and international
awards for his work, including the Padmashree -
one of India's highest civilian awards ever given
to a photographer - and Photographer of the Year
in the United States for the story Human Management
of Wildlife in India published in National Geographic.
He has also been a member of the jury for World
Press Photo. Raghu Rai has been a member of Magnum
photos since 1977. |
